Fireplace Installation Information

General Contractors, Framing, Electrical, Wall Finishing & More

Some of the misconceptions people have about buying a new fireplace is that you can easily remove the old one and reinstall a new one. 99% of the time that is not the case. Installing a new fireplace requires many different trades. Framers, finishing carpenters, gas plumbers, and electricians to name a few.  There are a lot of benefits by hiring a general contractor.

Speak with your contractor. They may want you to purchase the fireplace and they will handle everything else. Most will have you select your fireplace, and we will quote to the contractor, and they will include it in their price. Hearth & Home Specialties, Inc. encourages you to speak to and/or have a contractor before you purchase. Most contractors will not take on a job if you have already purchased the fireplace. It's not cost effective for them to do a portion of the project.
